HISTORY

SPEEDLINER® is among a wide range of urethane products and specialty materials produced by Industrial Polymers Corporation at its state-of-the-art, 51,000 square foot Houston, TX manufacturing facility.

The company is recognized as a research leader in the worldwide protective coatings industry, and holds numerous patents for polyurethane compound production processes.

Since 1984, Industrial Polymers' laboratories have created numerous breakthroughs in polymer technology which have lead to the production of extreme performance coatings for a wide range of automotive, industrial, marine and military equipment applications.

For many years Industrial Polymers Inc. manufactured and supplied various franchise based companies with ‘fast cure’ spray polyurethane based product. Recognising some of the inherent drawbacks with this particular type of spray coating, such as limited tensile and tear strength, longterm colour instability, expensive spray equipment and temperature and humidity sensitivity, laboratory work began on a totally new hybrid spray liner material.

SPEEDLINER® was specifically developed to overcome these and more problems commonly associated with ‘fast cure’ polyurethane spray polymers.

Since its introduction to the market place in the USA just over 14 years ago SPEEDLINER® has become one of the most successful spray-on urethane products developed and manufactured exclusively by Industrial Polymers Inc.
