MITSUBISHI MOTORS UK APPROVE SPEEDLINER®

SPEEDLINER® ‘The World’s Toughest Spray Liner, has established itself as the top selling spray on truck bed liner in the UK over the past 6 years.

This has not gone un-noticed by one of the highest selling brands of 4x4 pick up truck and utility vehicle distributors, Mitsubishi Motors UK.

SPEEDLINER® has, for many years now, been the bed liner protection of choice by an ever increasing number of 4x4 owners, especially Mitsubishi customers and some of their independent franchise Dealers.

So, it was an exciting and positive development when SPEEDLINER® Europe received the invitation to supply information, product samples and technical data about SPEEDLINER® to Mitsubishi Motors UK in early summer 2005.

Following an initial meeting at Mitsubishi Motors UK headquarters, SPEEDLINER® Europe was then asked to provide a SPEEDLINER® application to a Mitsubishi L200 double cab truck for product testing and evaluation.

We carried out a SPEEDLINER® application and added the Kevlar® KE2000 fibre, the genuine DuPont product, available only from SPEEDLINER®, to create unsurpassed cut and tear resistance, but we also colour matched SPEEDLINER® with one of the new Mitsubishi colours, Titanium Grey.

The vehicle with it’s SPEEDLINER® application was then submitted to several months of day to day load carrying and ‘workhorse’ wear and tear.

Needless to say, to everyone’s expectancy, the SPEEDLINER® spray-on liner did its job in providing tough and durable load bed protection on the Mitsubishi L200.

The independently tested product data was verified and Mitsubishi Motors UK Product Planner, Jon Sage-Rossiter, confirmed with SPEEDLINER® Europe that the SPEEDLINER® product was going to be accepted and recommended as an approved Mitsubishi Motors UK accessory product line.

It was then formerly decided, by Mitsubishi Motors UK, that SPEEDLINER® would be included in their accessory catalogue to coincide with the forthcoming launch of the exciting and stylish new Mitsubishi L200 in early 2006.

SPEEDLINER® will be available as a new ‘point of sale’ product from Mitsubishi Motors UK authorised dealers and all new vehicle applications are to be carried out by Mitsubishi’s own skilled spray technicians at their exclusive vehicle ‘point of entry’ workshops in Portbury, Bristol.
